What the ULEZ means for your van hire
The Ultra-low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) requires drivers in more heavily polluting vehicles to pay a charge of £12.50. Anyone driving a vehicle that does not meet the government’s ultra-low emissions standards will have to pay. This can be disruptive to your day-to-day routine and is an unpleasant extra expense. However, at H&H Van Hire, we can help. Every vehicle in our fleet is completely ULEZ compliant. When you hire from us you will be able to travel freely in, out, and around Greater London without paying the extra charge. This is all part of our commitment to providing modern solutions for our customers at the best value possible.
Where does the ULEZ affect?
From the 29th of August, the zone will have expanded to cover almost the entire county of Greater London. This means anyone driving into or around London, even suburban areas, will be affected. If you need to get into the capital, you can rent a van from H&H and get where you need without worrying about the additional cost. You may still be required to pay the Congestion Charge if you’re travelling when it is active, but we are happy to arrange this for you and include it in the cost of your van hire.
